What Grief Steals, Believe God Heals

For those in grief over the loss of a loved one. God is near, hears, and is actively healing and working.

Her mansion is almost complete.

He works tenaciously but carefully.

His masculine hands carve and chisel,

This carpenter by trade, Prince by birth, Savior by choice.

His joyous heart sings while He works.

It won’t be long now.

It’s coming along perfectly.

She will be so delighted!

Her eyes will sparkle like diamonds.

Her face will glow with a fresh burst of radiance,

Like one of my most majestic sunsets.

Her smile will light up each space like the stars,

And her arms will reach for my embrace,

As she runs like she dreamed of for years,

Into my arms—aching for a lifetime to hold her.”

grief

Come, Father; see the splendor of her new home.

See the gardens lush with color,

And the walkways paved with pearls.

Behold the beauty of her palace,

Which could never compare,

To the beauty of her presence.

She is coming to belong

Where her heart has yearned to be.

In the land of the living,

And the home of the free.

In the full presence of Love,

That I’ve showered upon her

During the long days, and dark nights.

The Love she could fathom only in part.

But now will be fully realized, and wholly hers,

For the relishing, the basking, the running,

 And the dancing in.”

Her mansion is a splendor to behold”, replied Father;

Carefully crafted,

By my Son’s nail-scarred hands.

Meticulously manufactured,

With the vision of her lovely face,

Ever-present in His mind.

It is ready for her,

And she is waiting

to be carried across the threshold.

Go to her, my Son,

She is a beautiful bride,

 Awaiting her bridegroom,

Who has made ready their home.”

Look now, angels! Prepare the banquet!

Here comes the bride!”

“Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.

Look, I am making everything new!

To all who are thirsty, I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.” Rev.21:3-7
